The other day I got a rare sight. After a heavy dose of snow in the Sierra's I was actually able to see the snowcapped mountains from the streets right near my home. The snow in the photo is probably 35 miles away, up near Placerville, CA.

I still have a little pile of snow off the front of my deck. I'm not quite as impressed with it as the snow from your "front porch." The bitterly cold rain has probably melted it away by now. Want to trade?

Uhm.... love ya buddy, but, uh.... no. I like my California and the fact that my snow is some 30-40 miles away.
